Specialized programs focus on operational and financial skill development and support a sustainable business environment in the Makkah Region
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat) organized a guidance and advisory week aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills at the Business Support Center in Jeddah. The program brought together several SME owners, alongside selected experts and specialists across multiple business sectors.
The 5-day program aims to improve participants’ operational and administrative competencies. It covers operational processes, strategic planning, technology, feasibility studies, human resources, marketing, sales, accounting, finance, and entrepreneurial project management.
The program also spans a broad range of economic sectors, including wholesale and retail trade, education and training, marketing, media, manufacturing, e-commerce, innovation, as well as finance and investment, reflecting broad support for different entrepreneurial activities.
The initiative comes as part of Monshaat’s efforts to strengthen the entrepreneurial environment in Saudi Arabia and support a more sustainable business ecosystem built on innovation and coordination between the public and private sectors. The program also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives related to SME growth and increasing their contribution to the national economy.
What This Means for the Business Sector
Programs of this type reflect a clear direction toward improving the quality of business formation processes and reducing early-stage disruption faced by startups. They also reinforce the importance of regulatory and operational readiness before launching a business, including selecting the appropriate legal structure, organizing administrative and financial procedures, and building a business model capable of growth and long-term continuity.
With these developments, Absher Business supports entrepreneurs and business owners in establishing their entities through a structured professional approach, managing registration and compliance procedures, and building operational and legal frameworks that support business growth in the Saudi market while maintaining alignment with professional standards.
