His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, in the presence of Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, inaugurated a package of municipal, housing, and investment projects valued at more than 2 billion SAR.
The visit also included the handover of housing units to beneficiaries and the recognition of donors participating in the “JoodEskan” campaign, reflecting joint efforts aimed at supporting housing stability and advancing urban development across the region.
During his meeting with municipality officials, the minister reviewed the “City View” digital platform and its role in improving city management efficiency. He also met with several local and international investors to discuss investment opportunities and the competitive advantages of the Eastern Province, emphasizing that partnership with the private sector remains a key factor in project development and in increasing the attractiveness of Saudi cities.
The tour included field visits to the Bay Front waterfront project, Khobar Corniche, and the operational city project. It concluded with a visit to the International City project in Dammam. These projects aim to improve the urban landscape and develop public facilities according to international standards, while providing higher-quality services for residents and visitors and supporting Saudi Vision 2030 objectives related to sustainable cities.
